Openin day of small game here in Jersey. Warm and dry morning, very dusty. We haven’t had any rain in almost 45 days. Picked up a few birds but because of the forest fires they minimized areas we can hunt on state grounds so it wasn’t like any normal opening day I had before. Still a fun time and beats a day at work!

digging the new seat setup in the back of the ferd for storage rather than just having stuff rolling around back on the floor.

Another week with another trip. I am flying to Detroit and working in mid Michigan this week. On the way to the airport this morning the 4Runner started to make an odd rattle when stopped; but no vibration thru the pedal. Now that is a Friday problem for when I get home.

Our last stint was 66 days without rain, last Tuesday we got .6in, enough to keep the dust down for about a day.

we got about .5 in yesterday but still way shy of where we should be. My parents live close to here and the smoke by their house was horrible. Couldn’t stay outside for more than 5 mins without eyes tearing and coughing. Also I have a large pile of brush I’d like to get rid of but we have burn bans throughout the state now for the foreseeable future Someone needs to do a rain dance
