We spent about 24 hours in Nashville on our honeymoon. Thought I would absolutely hate it because I’m not a fan of that “country” music scene. But it’s actually on my short list of places to get back to. Need a few more days there.

It has been a fast but enjoyable trip. Next time I will bring the proper shoes to do a hike.
You and your wife should do a weekend in Hot Springs. We did our first baby moon there and it was a nice quiet town you can walk around and go to breweries or bars. The national forests around there were mostly empty for us as well when we went hiking.

It’s on the list. Going to try to get up there next year. We’re doing Broken Bow in November for our anniversary.
Sammichmaker and I had our 10th anniversary on the TO-R Ozarks trip. It was a good time and trip for it.

Had an extra cord lying around, so decided to add a pigtail trickle charger to my generator so I can keep the battery fresh. Worked out that HF put an oil drain port on both sides, so I just removed the plug and it fits in there pretty decent.

I started it today, and I guess thankfully enough I've never "needed" it since I've bought it but nice to know it's there and ready to go. having the battery topped off was something that worried me since I don't run it often, it does have a pull start which isn't hard to use, but the older I get the lazier I get

i've never had even the new gas go bad on me but have heard stories. I use premium fuel in the lesser used implements and try to start them ever 3-4 months. I've never had an issue with the carbs getting gunked up but maybe i've just been lucky.

I do too, but my mowers carb is still gunked up. Got a new carb on the shelf that I'm swapping out this weekend. Then I'm tearing down the old one and cleaning it before putting it on the shelf for next time

This is a mentality that more people need to embrace. Instead, most lazy people would just buy a new mower.
