We got about 8" or so here, I had to head into work last night so that meant clearing the driveway during the day. Kubota made easy work of it, also pulled out about 2 or 3 neighbors whose tires were just spinning in their driveway. Hope all you guys survived the storm and stayed safe, I heard Tennessee and Mississippi got whooped pretty bad with alot of people losing power.

Decided to take the Ferd fteenthousand into work; between the snow rated tires and the heavy chassis, it drove nice even on the shittiest of roads. On the way home the alternator decided to die on me luckily it has two batteries so I made it home around 11 volts LOL. Ordered a new Bosch alternator and I'll rebuild my OEM 6G as a spare. I think the interstate batteries that went stone dead on me cooked the alternator when I started it a few months back. Alternator was original from what I can tell so I have no complaints. I contemplated ordering a higher output Mechman alternator but then I'd have to start upgrading the wiring and all that nonsense and I did not want to go down that rabbit hole, I have no plans to need any large amperage draws on the truck anyhow.

This video is longer and shows the moments leading up to it. He definitely asserts himself between the agent and the woman. He does appear to be wrestling with the woman. At the end of the day, he chose to put himself in that situation and it ended poorly.

I see things that should have been done differently on both sides.

One thought that I've had that I haven't seen mentioned, possibly because I can't stand to scroll through the thousands of idiotic politically charged rhetoric, is the possibility of him having another gun. It's not unreasonable to think that someone who is carrying one weapon wouldn't carry more than one. Even if the agent who shot first saw the gun being removed from his holster, it's possible that he saw him make a move or gesture that looked like he could be reaching for something else to cause harm.

There's maybe a dozen people there with clear line of sight to what happened. I wasn't one of them, and neither was the majority of people with strong opinions on the internet.

A 2nd gun, knife, or other lethal device. A subject is considered potentially dangerous until they have been properly searched and restrained. The calls to violence from the anti-immigration groups are forcing the LEOs to go into a mindset where every threat actor is a threat until fully detained. They are literally doing them to themselves.

Clarified- if a person continues to behave in a manner that they are a threat they will be treated like a threat until they are no longer a threat. They want a war zone without the debt of a war zone. Not everyone goes home when you go to war.

As more information about his recent history and mindset comes out it becomes more questionable why he was there behaving in such a way.
