He was doing the chiropractor thing for a couple weeks. Then the chiro told him he needed an MRI. They found the herniated disc (actually two I think) and he went to see a surgeon. The surgeon suggested against surgery at the moment so he’s doing injections and physical therapy. Injections are helping a ton but his body is just sore now from doing essentially nothing and being on bed rest for the last 6 weeks. He couldn’t stand up/walk for more than 20-30 minutes at a time and had to lay down for several hours between getting up.

Oh dang. I've had the injections/epidurals in the spine, I'll never do those again.

Ask him to look into Acupuncture. I have 5 or 6 damage discs, 3 in my neck and the others are in lower back. I'll eventually have the ones in my neck replaced, not looking forward to that.

Also some chiros will not touch a patient will extreme bulging on the discs, while others will manipulate the spine in other ways to prevent further damage to the spine and can bring relief.

Soaker hoses go off in the evenings and everything comes out here to drink.

I'm really liking this latest project. I made a small directional feeder. It's super light weight and easy to remove between machines.

Jason's got a setup like that on the right side of the Bronco. It's pretty sweet! Pretty much the same thing you built.

I had built one back in 2005/6 for the Honda ATV. It was actually a fish feeder and threw corn like 30ft out. I searched for a couple hours looking for that same motor/box. I couldn't find it, so I just threw together parts I already had.

Ask him if he wants to buy a HD one for the front. Needs motor and spring spinner plate. Probably holds 100lbs, it's probably 50 to 60lbs empty. And its a bit to heavy for my machines. A$king price; two six packs of some good IPA Praise Jesus Coldbeers!

Killed a doe and a spike buck to get meat in the freezer. Watched a bunch of very nice bucks that would be shooters to a lot of people, but I would rather give them another year or two before killing them. I shot a hog tonight. Done a lot of killing, heading back to the city tomorrow.

It works pretty good. I’m thinking about changing it up though. It’s so long and very heavy and that makes it not particularly easy to maneuver around in the stand

That is one reason I really like my 12" barrel on the 6.5 Grendel. The barrel plus suppressor are right at 16 or 18 inches depending on the suppressor I go with. I have an thermal on it right now but am debating getting a Pulsar day/night scope for it. Then I will use the AGN thermal for a spotting scope.

I think I’m going to try moving the thermal to my 300blk pistol and get a suppressor for that. Would be a fraction of the weight and length as compared to that 6.5 Creedmoor AR10. I can’t really see well enough to shoot over 100 yards with that thermal anyway, so it feels like a waste to have it on a long range rifle.
