I was up the steerlership also and looked at one, looks like a pretty nice little car and I did notice on it the sticker "100% Japan"

Seems like it'd be an ok daily driver if you want something other than econobox. Other than that, it seems to me like it needs about another 50hp and 25tq...

meh....reviews are pointless unless you know the person's intent. He just got it as a lease to put around in. I don't know many local guys that are over 30 and still looking to prove something with street racing. I was well over that shit when I hit 25 and accumulated more tickets then I can remember.
Better gas mileage then a 1st gen and now he doesn't have to DD the Tacoma. If he wants to get some adrenaline going drop the clutch and go to fun land.
Right, but then does the purchase price seem fair for what you get? Granted, the FR-S has basically zero competition, but "winning by default" has a touch less glory than the normal kind.
And if you read the last review on the list there, that looks at it as a daily driver, it's actually pretty positive.
That doesn't surprise me. Toyota, no matter how hard they may try to produce a car for a given "segment", will always manage to produce a Toyota

Yeah, I'm a fan of them. Its a real 4WD.. it works. Hard to argue with that. Not to mention next year they are bringing it back with a diesel.
They're doing some decent stuff for a company that needed our tax dollars for survival a couple years ago...
