Eventually. Going to make sure the Tacoma is good to go and get maintenance up to date first.
And adding on another $1500 to replace the UCAs/LCAs with OEM on the Tacoma. So this truck will be staying around at least another two years to get my money out of it.

Ordered some maintenance items for the Tacoma so I can get it all caught up next weekend. Debating to do a transmission flush or just do a drain and fill every 6 months. Not sure if doing a full flush would be doing more harm than good at 137k. Once I get this knocked out I'll look over the front end and see what all the bushings and weak links look like there and get a plan together for that as well as inspecting and greasing u joints. Next weekends plan is mostly oil change, spark plugs, all the filters, and differential oil. Will probably add a brake fluid flush as well to try and firm up the pedal feel a bit. Should probably go ahead and order stainless lines or may just wait until it needs a brake job, we'll see.
Is it the V6 or the 4-cylinder? If it's the auto V6, you have to have a machine do the tranny fluid change.
If you don't change the tranny filter as well, it's not worth doing.

I saw a procedure for pumping the fluid out through the cooler lines. As long as you only pump 3qts or so at a time it won't run the pump dry.
There are somethings in life that's worth paying a shop that has the right machine to the job. This is a 110% one of those jobs. That way if the transmission grenades itself, it's their fault.
Well the shocks are here. I may try to get the rear shocks on this weekend so as to get some of the work done ahead of time. The UCAs and LCAs have shipped.

This is how I flushed my transmission. Super simple…I just disconnected one of the cooler lines and routed it to an indexed bucket so I could see the quantity being pumped out. I filled the trans with the same amount of fluid that came out and kept going until I saw fresh fluid flow into the bucket. By doing it this way, the transmission fluid won’t be pushed through the system at any higher than normal pressure and therefore shouldn’t dislodge any chunks that a high pressure flush might dislodge. I’ve flushed my power steering by following the same basic procedure.

Rear shocks were put on this morning. The old shocks were the take offs from @italynstylion 's truck from back when he first put Icon's on it. Then they got another 200k miles on my Tacoma before getting replaced this morning. The Taco also got an oil change, engine and cabin filters changed, windshield wipers replaced, and inside of the windshield cleaned (it has had a slight film since being installed a few months ago).
