What have you done to your ride lately?

Bought yesterday(MLK holiday, bank was closed), and just paid it off today! lol we were supposed to be looking for a good used 4R for our son, but ended buying one for us. So guess the hunt is still on for another.

I really liked the Broncos a lot, but the reliability overall of the ferds has been a concern.

After checking on the animals, I didn't want to test my sliders out on the driveway.

The sammich maker had commented the Tacoma's horns were too quiet for the brain-dead-zombie-college-idiots she is surrounded by at campus. So I got her those Heli horns - not loud enough. This morning we installed a small snail train horn. This makes her giggle.

The horn is mounted forward and down a little so it sends that sound out nicely and still drains water. The solenoid was DOA so I wired around it.

I was able to replace the lower links on the 4Runner today; which were by far the bad ones. The old Rokman arms were there for almost 200k miles. The bushings were dry rotted and coming apart. One of the reasons I went with the Core4x4 links is they are greaseable.

The Rokman sleeve is so loose it falls out of the arm.

The new Core4x4 links are pretty nice. I will setup a day to install the uppers and do some other neglected maintenance while under there.

I screwed up the sticker; not Core4x4. One problem I am working out is the grease zerk on the front. The zerk cannot be reached due to the LCA mount if it is on the top. I have the LCA mount armor but need to make a few adjustments to it to fit again.
