What have you done to your ride lately?

BabyMax
Sold the BabyMax last night. Ended up just selling to a local dealership. They offered me enough it wasn't worth the hassle of selling private. By the time I dealt with all the tire kickers, the bank, the idiots who can't get financing, etc for a couple thousand extra bucks, it wasn't worth it. I was going to hang on to it for a couple more months until we get a couple projects knocked out around the house but I was just at the tipping point of being upside down. Wanted to get out of it while I was still ahead. I'll miss that truck.

Ordered a 9" Sony "floating" head unit (XAV-AX8100) for the truck. Sucks not having Bluetooth on the stock radio. If it did, I probably wouldn't bother upgrading. Eventually I'll upgrade the backup camera, speakers, and add sound deadening to the doors as well but that will be a spring time project.

A headunit with Android Auto or Apple carplay is much needed upgrade now. It's one I regret putting off for so long in my Tacoma.

Back to some wrenching this week to replace the UCAs and LCAs on the 2nd gen Taco. I am a little rusty on the process and getting a workout with the hammer. I did not realize I have not swapped the UCAs on this truck so I had to bend the pinch weld for the passenger bolt. All the fun and games so far.

Just laughing thinking 10 years ago we could do one side in the time it took for pizza to be delivered. Then the other before the 12 pack was gone.

Note - forgot about this guy needing two bolts removed to split the spindle from the LCA. Damn it but at least it will move quick after dinner. The driver side will be quick tomorrow.

7 minutes per side. I did the front suspension so many times it almost became a game to see how quick I could do it. I got the front done by myself in 29 minutes when I had the crap Icons warrantied.

I have the sway bar on this truck so it slows it down a little.

The passenger side is torqued and back on the ground. The driver side is going smoother now that I remember what I was supposed to remember.

Updated: back on the ground and test drive complete. It handles more than good enough to get to the alignment shop tomorrow. I will have to adjust the Fox coils down as it looks like they were set for 2" lift. Thankfully it is easier to lower than raise once on the truck.

Good to report back that the Tacoma is riding nice and driving straight after the alignment. Next up will be sorting out why the Firestone airbags will not hold pressure. The sammich maker is happy with it so that works.

The off road motorcycle has been getting more dirt time than the 4Runner lately. Today was new tire day for the Tenere 700.

Update - for reference I do not want to hear anyone complain about truck tires prices. My last set of tires on this bike cost ~$300 and only lasted 4,000 miles.

Ordered the rear suspension links for the 4Runner today. I kept putting it off but changing lanes today got kind of sketchy and it felt like the rear axle was a hopping a little bit. Sooo yeah.

No, it's not worse. Little scratch on the fender, bumper, tail light, and reattach mud flap.
Just got paid on it today. Looking for a silver takeoff bumper to fix it. Or I may not do a thing.

Most Bisons have the B pillars blacked out, but the ones in my color do not. Sooo .. blacking that shit out.. first attempt with PPF. Not gonna lie, its not perfect but I like the look. Once it warms up I'll give it another chance. Oh I also added blacked out door handles,

Before.. with door handles blacked out
