I picked up what some might call "Superman's thumbnail" to add to my drawer of panel popping tools and the like

I need one of those. I have a couple sets of the plastic panel popper and trim remover combos.

I picked up a 1.75” tube notching jig from 911 Motorsports. This thing is nice.

I have a friend who owns a fab shop in FL. He designed something very similar to that when 3d printers first hit the market. He was running several printers 24/7 printing and selling those until some chinese company ripped off his design and started selling them cheaper.

Picked up two 40x24 fixture tables on casters. Vevor brand. Similar to the HF Ttanium tables but a smidge larger and already on casters. I plan to beef them up a bit and use them to build the sliders. Will be nice to clamp things down for a change.

I need to pick up some steel to reinforce the top, probably pic up some more fixture to hold tubing in place and a few more clamps. I bought some 5/8” cold rolled to cut into small 2” sections and weld to the bottom of various clamps and vice grips to make my own. But it should do the trick.

Added a cross piece for grinder storage and some bins for fixtures.

Picked up 40 fixture pins to keep shit in place. Used 4 of them and welded Jorgenson clamps to them. I think I'll swing by HF tomorrow and pick up 4 more and do the same. I was going to use the 5/8th round stock I got but I needed something with a lip on it to prevent it from falling all the way through.

As much as I despise 12 point sockets and hardware, there are times when you need them. I know my ford driveshaft and usually most flywheel/pressure plate bolts are all 12 point. I decided to pick this set up, impact rated and goes all the way up to 36mm...should be a rarely used item but will be nice to have when I need it.

So I was talking with a friend (will have to look up his user on here it has been a long time) and he was bragging about this new M12 1/2" impact doing everything he needed for metal and welding work.

Home Depot has a moderate deal on them today with 2 batteries. Mine will be here Monday and will have full time duty in the 4Runner toolbox. An M12 1/2" impact with over 500 ft/lbs of torque!

I have the 3/8" version of those. It's a beast!

Buy this from a vetted vendor and get the socket set as well. This is one of my MOST used tool setups I've ever had and is so damn convenient that if it got stolen today, I'd have all of this stuff on order by midnight to replace it because I use it that much.
